Ежегодно с 2018 года на базе Регионального отделения ДОСААФ России по Нижегородской области формируется отряд для регулярных занятий в учебный период.
С ребятами ведутся занятия по огневой, тактической, строевой, горной подготовкам, основам первой помощи, военной истории, туризма, астрономии и метеорологии.
